May 2009, Vacaville, CA:  Miss Ryan Newman, model for No Slippy Hair Clippy®, will be starring in “Zeke & Luther,” the new Disney series debuting June 15^th on family entertainment channel Disney XD. Miss Newman, who portrayed the younger Miley Cyrus on Disney’s mammoth hit series “Hannah Montana”, loves the No Slippy clips® and headbands, and wears them both on and off screen.

Modeling for No Slippy® last year was an ideal way for Miss Newman to show her support of family friend Annie Salyer, No Slippy’s CEO and President, who couldn’t be more pleased.

“When I met Ryan & her mother Jodi in Los Angeles, they shared with me how Ryan could never find anything that would stay put in her hair.  As soon as Ryan tried on a clip, she was simply amazed!  Ryan’s become a huge No Slippy® fan because, as Jodi explained, ‘they’re the only clips that stay put in her hair.’ 

One thing led to another, and the next thing I knew, Ryan graciously made herself available for the No Slippy Hair Clippy® Fall ’09 catalogue photo shoot. She was a delight to work with – an absolute gem – and the photos are magnificent.”

Miss Newman was featured throughout the No Slippy Hair Clippy® Fall 2008 catalog, sporting the No Slippy® classic Zoey Princess Bow® hairclip in white, the Felicia clip in lavender, the Julie butterfly French hair clip, and a No Slippy® flower headband. 

In addition to her featured role on “Hannah Montana”, Newman also plays Carlotta in the comedy feature film “Lower Learning” starring Jason Biggs and Eva Longoria Parker.  Now just shy of 11 years old, Ryan Newman entered the entertainment industry at the age of three.  At the ripe old age of seven, the young actress made her film debut in two films in one summer —“Zoom” and “Monster House”--both from

Sony Pictures.  In the comedy “Zoom”, Ryan co-starred opposite Tim Allen, Courtney Cox, and Chevy Chase.  Ryan then joined an all-star cast in the Steven Spielberg film “Monster House” that included Steve Buscemi, Nick Cannon, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Kevin James, Jason Lee, and Catherine O'Hara. Ryan resides in Southern California with her mom, dad, and older sister Jessica.
